Jill is a very sweet girl who LOVES to be with her humans. She would be a perfect companion for an older person. Jill would be fine as an only dog as she enjoys having all of the attention to her self.
Jill was born with a defect in her shoulder/front leg which limits her flexibility. It does NOT however cause her any pain or keep her from getting around. It actually makes her that much cuter because she sits up like a human when she wants your attention...just adorable! She is a bit on the pudgy side and would do well with short walks to help her get her girlish figure back. She does LOVE her food ;)
Please read Jill and Molly (Jolly’s) story….
Jill and Molly have had a miraculous journey across the
country. They moved with their family due to financial hardships and then they
were still not able to care for the girls.
Jill and Molly were surrendered to a shelter in Maryland. After hearing of the tragic turn of events
many, many people who had been friends of the family by way of the online dog
networking site Dogster.com begin networking from PA to FL to rescue these
girls from the shelter.
One volunteer drove from FL to MD to retrieve Jill and Molly
and bring them to FL to their current foster home.
Jill and Molly had been spoiled and loved family members
until they ended up at the shelter through no fault of their own.
They both are now looking for their new FOREVER homes. They
can be adopted together but, it is not necessary. They are fairly independent and
just want to be loved and cared for.
