"Sweet Pea" is a sweetheart. She is friendly, adorable and loves to be petted. She is good around other dogs and children. She loves to play tug of war and fetch with her dog toys. After some high energy playfulness, she can settle down on the sofa for a snuggle.

Sweet Pea will do best with a person or family that is home most of the time as she does not like to be alone. She is housetrained, smart and wants to please. She has a history of separation anxiety but it has not been a problem in her foster home. We have a busy household with teenagers and parents in and out all day long and she does well. She can't tell us her history, but she gets very upset in a crate. Since she is housetrained, we give her the run of the house without any problems. She scratches at the backdoor when she wants to go outside and come in. She will get into garbage cans or any food left in reach, so we keep the garbage secured and the food stored at counter top level or above without any problems. Sweet Pea completed basic obedience training too!  She will need a person or family who is willing to work with her separation anxiety issues.
