Noah III
Hi, My name is Radar (aka Noah III) My mommy and daddy adopted me from TBBR in August 2008. I was found roaming with my "doggy mommy" in Orlando. My doggy mommy and I stayed with a foster home until I was ready to go to my forever home. My doggy mommy and the other dogs taught me early to potty outside and I had a lot of fun playing with everyone. My "people mommy" came to get me during Tropical Storm Faye, that"s how I got my name. I have a big brother named Junior. He is my favorite chew toy in the whole, wide world. My favorite place to sit in the house in usually on top of my brother. Junior is big and black like a great big bear. We go everywhere together and he tries to keep me out of trouble. I love to go for boat rides. It relaxes me. My mommy laughed and laughed the first time I played in the ocean. I learned how to swim very quickly, how else was I supposed to get the ball?!? Now=2 0mommy has a hard time keeping me out of the water! My mommy and daddy love to play and teach me new tricks. Mommy and I went to school together and we learned a lot! We learned how to communicate better and my teacher said I was the smartest Beagle he ever saw. It made me feel proud, mommy too. I love to cuddle, especially first thing in the morning. There’s nothing like laying on daddy’s side of the bed when he first gets up. It’s nice and warm and mommy rubs my ears until I snore. Life is good!!! Thank you TBBR for finding my family. I am the happiest Beagle in the world!!!

02/28/09: Hello Fosters! Just wanted you to know that I love my new home. I have a great yard and there is even a futon that's perfect for me. My new brother is pretty cool, too. My new mom tells me I'm going to a really neat doggie park tomorrow. I'll write and let you know all about it. Thanks to you all for taking such good care of me and finding me a 4-ever home! Hugs & Kisses, Barney (fka Frosty)
03/03/09: Dear Fosters, Wow! I am having fun. On Sunday, we went to the greatest doggie park. It’s right on the water and we could see boats and airplanes. I met a pretty little girl named Clare who found her new home at the same event on Saturday! She had back surgery a few weeks ago and is doing great! I went for a walk through my new neighborhood yesterday and met a lot of nice dogs and people. My new brother, Matt, and I are getting along fabulously. He lost his other brother last month but I think having me around has cheered him up. Matt taught me how to use the doggie door and I love running in and out whenever I please! He also taught me how to do hot laps and we go around and around together in the yard. My new mom thinks I’m really smart and tells me all the time that I am a good doggie and well on my way to being a perfect doggie! She loves scratching my belly and I make her laugh a lot! Well, that’s it for now but I’m looking forward to sharing new adventures with you later. Lots of kisses, Barney
03/07/09: Hey, just an update to let you know I’m settling in to my new home just fine. I so enjoy our afternoon walks and visits to the doggie park. My bro and I continue to play well together. While doing hot laps in the yard this week I discovered there are screens on the patio! Who knew??? Don’t worry, I didn’t get hurt. Just very, very surprised! Mom says the days will be getting longer soon so we can have more special outings during the week. Oh boy! Mom also discovered I prefer rawhide to nylabone, thank goodness. I’ve been so good that I don’t need a crate and I have fallen in love with my futon. That’s where I like to sleep during the day but at night I get to snuggle with Mom and Matt. Good thing she has a big bed! I’m told that I get to have my first b-a-t-h this weekend. Don’t know what that is but I’m sure it will be fun! Have a great weekend! Slurps and kisses, The Barn
03/13/09: Hi! Well, Mom tells me today is the first day of a long and healthy life for me. I spent the night with Dr. Rose on Wednesday and he is making sure that happens. I got two BIG shots and lots of poking and prodding. Seems I had a few other wormy things going on (hook & whip) but we’re taking care of that, too. I was not a happy camper and didn’t eat while I was with Dr. Rose. But Mom rescued me (again) and brought me back home. She treated me to some really good hamburger and brown rice which I gobbled up. I also got my first heartworm preventative because Mom says I’m not going to get sick again. Still feeling a bit puny so I’m sleeping and taking it easy… but LUV all the TLC I’m getting! Later… love, Barn Ps – I now know what a b-a-t-h is… not as much fun as I thought but I handled it great!
03/18/09: Hello again! So far so good! I’m still recovering but Mom says I’m doing great and that I’m a good patient. My back is still sore but Mom gives me medicine that takes care of that. She also helps me to get up on my favorite patio chair when it’s cool in the evenings and helps me to bed when it’s time to go to sleep at night. But I am able to get up on my futon all by myself which is where I like to spend the day. It’s sunny in my futon room and I can look out the window. My appetite is still great, too! My neighbor, Becky, is a vet tech who checks in on me from time to time. She thinks I’m doing great, too. And Mom visits me at lunch time every day when she’s working. We’re all counting the days when I’ll be all better and able to go for long walks again as well as enjoy play dates at the doggie park. Mom says that we’re getting my pearly yellows cleaned when I’m better so that they will be pearly whites! Oh! I discovered wind chimes last night while snoozing on my patio chair! What a beautiful sound! Will write again soon. Love, Barney Ps – still LUVing (and milking) this TLC thing ;o)
03/23/09: Hi Everybody! Well, it’s official… Mom mailed the final adoption papers today so my name is officially Barney “the hamburger” Watson! (Mom thinks I’m a big ham) Yipee!! We’re all very excited about that. And I met my new doctor today. Everybody at the doctor’s office was so glad to meet me and made a really big fuss. They especially luv’d how I roll over so I can get a belly rub! Yep, made me feel pretty special! I even have my own file folder now and everything. Doc thinks I’m doing pretty good, too, but thought it would be a good idea to give me some medicine coz my chest still rattles a little. He’s great and I think we’re gonna get along just fine. Oh! Doc also checked and confirmed all those other wormy things are gone now! Yay! You would be very proud how well I am taking this recovery thing. Mom promises me that it will all be worth it and we have a big celebration to look forward to in a few more weeks. I do so appreciate what you have done for me and will never, ever forget all the good work that you do! You made it possible for me to find a home where I am awesomely loved and totally secure. I’m pretty sure I can get used to this with no problem :o) That’s it for now but promise you haven’t heard the last of me! Love, Barney Frosty Watson
Lisa's Puppy #4
My husband and I adopted one of Lisa's puppies (#4) back in March of 2006. We named him Sassafras and have been loving him ever since.
Kirby
I was adopted on February 14, 2009, what a terrific date, right? My new family says that I am the best dog in the whole world. I am so happy with them. I´m always on their side because they are always giving me a lot of love, hugs and kisses. They treat me like a member of the family, not as a pet. I am very spoiled, because I follow all the instructions my mom and dad tell me. I know what is sit, down (because I can´t go upstairs yet...) I am so good that they add privileges every week. They reward me with new toys, new clothes, new flavor treats, doggy bed, crate mattress, and more. I like to run and play with the girls in the backyard, and I also have two beagles friends (Oli and Libby). Definitely I am very grateful to Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue because they took me when I was abandoned. Thank you to my foster home, because they prepared me for my new house. Thanks for everything you did for me, and most of all for finding a home full of love for me.
Thank you.

Gazou
Hi everyone!
Gazou here! Just thought I would hijack my dad's email and say hi and tell
you how much fun I am having. I had it rough to start but now life is great!
After being stuck in a boarding facility, Mom and Dad did a foster to adopt
agreement so I could get my heartworm treatment. I finished the treatment and
feel like a whole new puppy! It was a rough few weeks but well worth it! I
have finally come out of my shell and love playing with the loads of toys I have
gotten. Sometimes its hard to pick just one! I still have my independent
Beagle personality at times though. That’s why I don’t bark much.
Sometimes Mom and Dad doubt my Beagle heritage cause I don’t bark. I have them
fooled! Ha Ha. I have taken to my crate quite well I am told. I just like it
cause its soft! Not as soft as my parents bed though, which I have been known
to sneak in sometimes. Dad got in trouble for letting me in the first time and
now he says he created a
monster! I'm innocent, I swear! Just look at the sappy face I give them!
They just melt in my paws! And they are impressed with the fact that I know how
to sit and stay...such simple minds they are :) Mom and Dad are so proud of me!
I guess I have come a long way since they first met me! I think they have come
a long way too! I just want to give a special Thanks to Angela and Jack for
helping me find my new parents! Life really is fun now! Anyway, I’ll let you
get back to pampering all your furry friends! Thanks again for all you do!
Gazou
