We adopted Jeremiah 7 years ago from TBBR. We can't imagine our family without him! He is the cutest most lovable dog ever. When we decide to add another member to the family we will adopt again. I take every opportunity to promote TBBR. Thank you for all you do!

I just read the article in the St. Pete Times about JackNovoselski and Mina Rest. How wonderful of Jack and his wife Dee to befriend Mina and to return Penny to her before she died. He showed a tremendous amount of compassion and went above and beyond what most people would have done. Mina died with her best friend and her beloved dog by her side. What more could anyone want? Congratulations to you, Jack, for the work that you do. There will be a special place in heaven for you!

Just wanted to remind the "Rescue" that we give the Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue a plug every chance we get here in Lakeland!
Lots of walks w/Mack open up plenty of opportunities for referrals.
Planning to attend a meetup to see our Beagle/People friends soon!

We adopted Rusty II, in April of last year. He is a tremendous part of our family, and we are thankful for every day that we have him. He is currently having some problems with his hips, so he is at the vet right now to see what we can do. I would never go anywhere else to adopt another special family member. Everyone at TBBR is the best.

Hello, again. I adopted Harley(nee Tommy) in October. I am happy to say, we recently went to the vet and my lil chubby boy has shed 5 pounds! Our daily 2-3 mile walks and avoidance of table food is paying off. He has only had two seizures since October and is well-liked by our companions on the trail where we do our daily exercise. He seems to be a happy and frsky companion. My last trip to my doc yielded good news. The walking has been a boon to us both.

Ally is doing great. Scott was a big help in helping change our behavior to make Ally a better pet. She still challenges us with her chewing, but we love her more and more every day. She attends day care a couple days a week to release some of her never ending energy (also at Scott's suggestion) but at the sound of our voice, she's ready to go home. Goes in/out of her "condo" at her leisure, highly food motivated and gives her paw as soon as a treat is in hand. Loves people, other dogs and can work her charms in any crowd. She is definitely a "daddy's girl" and we could not imagine a day without our little girl.

I tried at least 6 times to send an email to this address so I could send you a picture of Happy. She's doing so well just two days after surgery and is even running with only 3 legs. I wish you could see her ... she's just beautiful and so ... Happy! Thank you to Jack (the front man) for all this. You arel all angels in my book!

I wanted to tell you that she is the best dog in the whole world we would like to say thank you for providing us the opportunity to rescue a dog. When we put our beloved dog Missy to sleep we never thought we would fill the void in our lives but Sasha is just the sweetest dog. Sasha has filled that void. Thanks Tbbr

We have had Nigel for 5 weeks now. He has adjusted well, responding fine to the heartworm treatment and loves to snack. We want to thank you for the services you perform for these guys/gals. We have adopted dogs or picked up strays for many years but Nigel is the first beagle. What a gentleman and comedian. Keep up the great work.

We had a wonderful time at the beagle adoption gathering on Sat., June 7, 2008. It was fun to actually get to meet all the dogs we had seen online, and Quigley enjoyed being with other beagles. We waited eagerly for Stella II to arrive, and ringing the bell to announce we had adopted her was a very emotional experience! We are so taken with her! Her pictures showed her sweet face, but not those long, long legs! She looks like beagle fashion model, and we think she must be a whippet-beagle mix. She is, as described, quite shy right now, but she is clearly enjoying her new home and family, we're happy to say. She loves the futon by the windows to the yard, loses herself in play with furry animal toys, and has actually barked a couple of times while playing "bitey-face" with Quigley. (Don't worry, though, she is only doing moderate to low activity right now,per doctor's orders.) She is going to be quite a girl after her recuperation period is over! I promise to send pictures soon!
Thanks so much! You are all wonderful!

We've had Dexter (formerly Frankie) a little over a week now and we couldn't be happier! He's such a little bundle of joy & is full of energy! He fits in great with us and with our other dog Haven. She's so thrilled to have a canine sibling to play with because her feline family wants nothing to do with her!
We are so happy and feel so blessed to have found him!
Thank you Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue!

We adopted Dexter (Formerly Frankie) a week ago today & we couldn't be happier with the little guy! He has meshed so well with our family - especially with our dog Haven. She is so happy to have someone to play with!
He loves going for walks and starts jumping up and down when he hears the leash come down for the counter! We get compliments from everyone when we take him anywhere! He loves going for car rides with the windows rolled down so he can feel the breeze!
We couldn't have asked for a sweeter, more loving addition to our family!!!

Penny update . . . we adopted Penny in January 2006. She is doing great. We rescued a poodle 6 mths. after Penny from Coastal Poodle Rescue and they are best friends. We will never forget the help we received from TBBR when we found Penny on line at their website and adopted her. I highly recommend rescuing a dog as opposed to buying one at a pet store or from a breeder.

Kobey wanted to say hello to everyone at TBBR. He wants you to know what a very good boy he is and how much he loves his new home. "I have three cat brothers that I am VERY good with and I love my new exciting life".
He has over come all of his issues for the most part, we are still working on his possessiveness of things he has found. The cats eat out of his bowl so he certainly no longer has food aggression. He is SOOOOO sweet, loving and FULL of energy. He loves everyone and everything.
Thank you for bringing such joy back into my life.

I am so glad that I found this website. It so heartwarming to see people who love and care enough about animals to save them from the horrible conditions these poor animals are put in. I just want to thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. I just filled out an application and hope to soon be able to adopt a beautiful beagle. Once again, THANK YOU

To TBBR. We just adopted Trinket from you all last Sat (3/3/07). Not only was the experience wonderful, but we never cease to be amazed at how many beagles you all save and give a second chance. Every few days we check up on the list and we are so encouraged to see more and more beagles getting adopted. To TBBR, you are doing an EXCELLENT job.
By the way.. Trinket is getting used to our household.. Overall she's a little angel.. and she loves following her big sister Sassy around and mimicking her.. especially learning to sniff like a beagle when we go for our morning and evening walks. Both Trinket and Sassy have been big time spoiled as we have taken them to off-leash dog parks every day since we welcomed Trinket into our home. :) We have tons of stories and pictures in just one week! :)
We again, want to thank TBBR for everything. Your cause is so worthy... and my heart really goes out with all of the beagles adopted and waiting to be adopted.
Thanks from Trinket, Sassy, Jocelyn and Darrin :)
