Help Beagles in Need ... Become a Sponsor for 2008
Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue Offers a New Way to Help Homeless Pets
People who love pets but cannot adopt one for one reason or another now have another way to help. Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue has just added a feature to its pet list on Petfinder.com called Sponsor a Pet.With a simple click of a button, a visitor can make a donation to a pet’s care. To see pets available to sponsor, visit http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/FL389.html.
If the pet chosen is no longer available for adoption or receives numerous sponsorships, Tampa Bay Beagle Rescuemay apply the donations to ongoing needs for other pets. Contributions are collected and distributed by the Petfinder.com Foundation and are tax deductible as the law allows.
Goals for our Fundraiser:
Provide necessary medical care: Many of the dogs in our care require expensive medical treatment, like treatment for heartworms, before adoption. The rescue relies on donations to help cover the costs to treat these dogs.
Find a new home for the Rescue: Betty Roberts, who kindly kept our Beagles on her private property for many years, has moved and we must find a new permanemt home for the Rescue. We are working to find a property where we can establish a suitable facility to keep our Beagles safe and sheltered while they are waiting to be adopted. The facility must also include provisions to care for sick and injured Beagles. Such a facility would also allow us to increase the number of Beagles we are able to rescue. We would hope to obtain grants to pay, in part, for the property, but will no doubt need to call on the generosity of our friends to complete this project.
Be a Beagle Buddy!
For a donation of $100 or more, you can become a "beagle buddy" and help us save more beagles. Your donation can be in honor of your beloved beagle or in memory of a beagle that has gone to "rainbow bridge." Here's how it works:
1. Make a tax-deductible donation in the amount of $100, $250, $500 or more.
